_able: Silver Lake, California, United States; I started as an art director for a small adult video company, joined a performance collective, did some live event mixing, remixes, did some ''sound' art', did some 2D compositing for a television show, did telecine for a Barbie commercial, organized volunteers for a large profile fundraiser, cofounded a political art collective, co-started an after hours ambient club, released some music, did music for commercials, did a bunch of 'extra' work, did editing for television, did some installation art, had a show with Dan McMullin at Galeria De La Raza in 2002, doing a bit of web work; from coding to design, and most recently helped to enumerate my neighborhood (and Watts) in 2010 and register voters throughout old Edendale for the 2011 state elections. Currently working on a project that investigates the creation of a gay/queer identity and 'gay community' in the Los Angeles Area, and with Richard Goldin, we are collaborationg on a project that investigates the intersections of activism, aesthetics and function.
